this myth is too common place. Many people belioeve that if their alarm sounds, neighbor's will automatically call the
police. Not true, more often than not people ignore alarms and even though they seem loud neighbors don't always hear
them.

"I have a great security system" Many
times people buy homes with security systems already installed, and think just because they have keypads to arm and disarm
they have a "great security system". Take a good look at your system, do you have the bare bone sytem? Door contacts
and a couple of motions? This is too often what contractors building/selling homes provide. This is not adequate to provide
protection, and is a false sense of security.
